Jayna and Claire originally planned to host a quick and tasteful baby shower at their house but were eventually worn down by Cheryl’s incessant demands (and two full-blown temper tantrums). The low-key celebration morphed into a tacky Gender Reveal party that Cheryl dictated must take place at her house. After all, Cheryl lectured, everyone knows that Cheryl Jr. enjoys a drink or two and it would be selfish and irresponsible to make her baby boy drive home drunk after the party. Cheryl then burst into tears, screaming that they should be thanking Cheryl Jr, the “man-of-the-house” who had so selflessly offered to let his mother host the party at “his” house. To keep the peace, Claire apologized to Cheryl, as Cheryl cut the crusts off of the sandwich that she was preparing for Cheryl Jr (as she does not allow him to “play” with knives).
